Harry Nichols
is currently a freelance Data Scientist. His foray into data science began when he completed a summer internship
at Rolls-Royce in 2019, where he trained fleet forecasting surrogate models to optimise the maintenance scheduling of military fighter jet engines.
After subsequent internships and graduate scheme, he became a systems engineer for the Global Combat Air Programme.
In 2020, he received a First Class (MEng) Masters in Aerospace Engineering (hons) from
The University of Nottingham, UK.
So far, he has been fortunate enough to work for Rolls-Royce across multiple areas of the Defence Business, including Combat, New Concepts, Naval and Future Programmes.
